WHY CHANGE?

 
 

Old zoning bylaws for Toronto’s apartment neighbourhoods were invented over fifty years ago and reflect the attitudes of a different time. They restricted what people could do in and around residential apartment towers, prohibiting activities such as food markets, shops, classes, community services and cafés.

RAC Zoning allows for communities, businesses, service providers and the city to create more complete, convenient and healthy communities in nearly 500 Tower Neighbourhoods across Toronto.
